Jersey Festival of Words is committed to removing barriers for all, regardless of your disability. If you need any additional help which is not listed, please contact info@jerseyfestivalofwords.org and we will do everything we can to make your visit as easy and stress free as possible. 

WHEELCHAIR

All areas of the Festival Village have wheelchair access and are fitted with an induction loop.

There will be a platform for wheelchairs in the Festival Marquee To book wheelchair space at an event please email info@jerseyfestivalofwords.org stating name and number of tickets required.

DEAF AND HARD OF HEARING

The Festival Marquee and Jersey Arts Centre are fitted with induction loops.

There will be a reserved area in the Festival Marquee for attendees who are hard of hearing and would like to lip-read at the event. To book please email info@jerseyfestivalofwords.org stating name and number of tickets required.

There will be a BSL

interpreter at Raymond Antrobus’s performance at 6pm on Friday 23rd September in the Festival Marquee.

BLIND OR VISUALLY IMPAIRED

We can send you the programme in Microsoft word format, which can be enlarged, and is more easily read by text to speech software.

There will be a reserved area in the Festival Marquee for attendees who are visually impaired.

There will also be trained Sighted Guides on site.

TOILETS
 

Disabled access toilets are available at each venue.
