Best known for the classic We’re Going on a Bear Hunt, Michael’s warmth, wit and joyful storytelling have made him one of Britain’s most cherished literary voices. He is also known as a dedicated champion of teachers and the power of education. After famously surviving a near-fatal battle with COVID-19, Michael brings an even sharper sense of perspective – and mischief – to the stage. Expect poetry, anecdotes, laughter and a celebration of eighty years very well lived.
