Writing for Publication – From Start To Finish

Writing for publication is a very difficult process that takes a lot of time, knowledge and patience. Not only is the process difficult to master, but it is also difficult to know what to do with your script, once you are finished. This session will address the basics of how to write for publication from research, to writing to output.

Dr Sean Dettman is a historian, teacher and author of the new book America and the Blitz: The shaping of US Public Opinion and Policy on Great Britain (University of Missouri Press, 2026). He lives in Jersey, Channel Islands with his two children Frankie and Cal and his wife Natasha.
