Into the Under – Poetry Reading and Chat

Sandra Noel is a Jersey poet with a passion for nature and the ocean. A year-round sea swimmer, Sandra is often seen with tow float, dry-robe and iPad. Her poems appear in various online and print magazines.  Her debut collection Into the Under was published in July 2024 by Yaffle Publishing. EYECAN provides social and community-based support to Islanders living with sight impairment. This includes a weekly Social Club on a Thursday that has been running for many years. Clients attend for the day, transported by our volunteers, and socialise with peers, take part in activities, enjoy performances from local artists, and have a cooked lunch prepared in-house by our Cook. Many of the clients who attend are socially isolated and the Club provides a much-valued opportunity for friendship and support.
