Step into the world of the Renaissance through one of Jersey Library’s most intriguing treasures: a heavily annotated 1490 edition of Supplementum Chronicarum. Guided by the lively, densely written marginalia of a single Renaissance reader, we will examine how books became spaces for argument, interpretation and personal engagement. Alongside other items from the library’s historic collections, this event illuminates the rich, interactive culture of reading that flourished in the first generations of print.
