Some Woman for One Woman

Jersey Festival of Words is delighted to be working with ArtHouse Jersey to present a unique collaboration between words and images.

Some Woman for One Woman brings together the words of Jersey-based Irish poet Danielle Mynes with visual artist Jacque Rutter, giving voice and space to female experience. The collection features twenty-two poems and is inspired by the poet’s lived experiences and perspectives. The merging of two powerful mediums takes you on a journey and serves as both a political commentary on the violence that women experience daily and their enduring fortitude, and women’s capacity to love and heal the world in everyday actions.
