For Schools

We're delighted to offer a range of events for students across the Island. Class bookings for events at the Freedom Centre and on-site workshops can be arranged by emailing schools@jerseyfestivalofwords.org. Home-school bookings can also be made via this email address. A hearing induction loop will be installed, with assistance for any visually impaired attendees.

All Freedom Centre performances are an hour long, with an author book signing afterwards (please allow coach pickup time for this). We encourage schools to organise book purchases for their students where possible, either before the event or on the day. As well as encouraging reading and providing the children with a signed momento of their day strong book sales help us attract authors to the island for subsequent festivals!
