Other fiction writers scheduled to appear this year include Libby Page (The Lido), Lucy Adlington (The Red Ribbon) and Rupert Thomson (Never Anyone But You), and our Santander International Schools Programme is packed with fantastic events for young readers.
As part of our well-being programme we’re delighted to be welcoming columnist Bryony Gordon (Eat, Drink, Run), Alexandra Heminsley (Leap In) and Faisal Abdalla (The PMA Method) to the island, while blogging sensation Clare Pooley will be discussing her book The Sober Diaries.
And so much more! With so much on offer this year why not dive into our website and take a look for yourself.
Tickets for many events are now available, and can be booked HERE or via the event page on this site. If the ticket for the event you want is not yet on sale, just check back in a week or so.
Last year we were thrilled to welcome a host of writers including Professor Richard Dawkins, Dame Jenni Murray and Alexander McCall Smith to the island. Also featuring were acclaimed novelists John Boyne, Jane Menczer and Jem Lester, food-blogging sensation Ella Mills and Grazia agony aunt and writer Daisy Buchanan, while young readers thrilled to fabulous shows and readings from a range of authors including Clare Balding, Jason Rohan and Children’s Laureate Lauren Child.
Our thanks to all our featured writers, and to all those that turned out to make the festival such a resounding success.
