Jersey Festival of Words 2018 took place between Sept 26 and Sept 30 and featured over 60 acts, including evenings with bestselling novelists PETER JAMES and JOANNA TROLLOPE, and poet LEMN SISSAY.
Other fiction writers appearing this year included Libby Page (The Lido), Lucy Adlington (The Red Ribbon) and Rupert Thomson (Never Anyone But You), while the Santander International Schools Programme was packed with fantastic events for young readers.
As part of our well-being programme we were delighted to welcome columnist Bryony Gordon (Eat, Drink, Run), Alexandra Heminsley (Leap In) and Faisal Abdalla (The PMA Method) to the island, while blogging sensation Clare Pooley discussed her book The Sober Diaries.
And there was so much more! We’ll be starting work on our round-up video very shortly, though for now why not have a browse of a few of the images from this year’s festival on this page or on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter. There are plenty more to come.
We’ll be taking a little rest before updating the website fully, but not before passing on our deepest gratitude to everyone that made this year’s festival possible.
Thank you all so much!
