Memories from 2022...

A HUGE THANKS TO ALL OUR 2022 FESTIVAL SPONSORS and SUPPORTERS

Thursday Sept 22
Friday Sept 23

Welcome...

...to Jersey Festival of Words. This literary event promotes a love of the written and spoken word across our community in a variety of styles and settings, as well as welcoming internationally-renowned authors to our beautiful island.

Last year we were supported by the Jersey Community Foundation (with funds from the Channel Island Lottery proceeds) and the Government of Jersey.

Alongside our regular venues – Jersey Arts Centre, St Helier Library and Jersey Heritage sites, we were proud to announce the exciting addition of a 400-person daisy-pole marquee in Howard Davis Park as our main venue.

The guiding principle of our festival is to celebrate the pleasure and power of words in all its forms, with something to include people of all ages and backgrounds. In addition to literary events, our festival includes performance poetry, drama, film, music and visual arts, always with words at its heart.

Plans for this year's festival are underway; further details will follow in the coming months.
