…and some frequently given answers!
How long has the Festival been going?
This is our fourth year.
How do I purchase tickets?
Tickets for individual events can be purchased directly from event venues via their online booking systems, or from the ticket office on the night of the event. See individual events for details.
Are Festival venues suitable for those with mobility impairments?
Jersey Opera House and Jersey Arts Centre have excellent access for all. The event at the Havre des Pas Lido requires a short journey across a wooden boardwalk; we would ask that anyone with a mobility impairment attending this event to contact us at email@example.com in advance, so that we may provide extra assistance if required.
How do I become a sponsor, founder or benefactor of Jersey Festival of Words?
As a non-profit making organisation we really appreciate any and all financial support. To donate to the Festival, head on over to the Support JFW page. If you are a business or organisation looking to sponsor an event or a cluster of events, then please contact us directly at firstname.lastname@example.org.
How can I get my school involved?
We will have a number of fantastic events and workshops aimed at school children. Schools will be able to bulk purchase nearer the time. If you’re interested in securing places immediately then please email us directly.
Will I be able to meet the authors?
While we cannot arrange personal meetings, every author will do a book signing after the event and it will be possible to say hello and purchase a personalised copy. Most events also feature a Q+A session, allowing you to ask a question directly.
